NHS Treatment
Some patients are eligible for free treatment under the NHS. Information can be found on the nhs.uk website. For anyone not entitled to free NHS treatment, it is priced according to the level of treatment required, as per the below NHS payment bands
There are 3 NHS charge bands. From April 2019 to March 2020, the costs are as follows:
Band One £23.80
Covers an examination, diagnosis and advice. If necessary, it also includes X-rays, a scale and polish, and planning for further treatment.
Band Two £65.20
Covers all treatment included in Band 1, plus additional treatment, such as fillings, root canal treatment and removing teeth (extractions).
Band Three £282.80
Covers all treatment included in Bands 1 and 2, plus more complex procedures, such as crowns, dentures and bridges.
Private Treatment Fees
For patients wishing to undertake private treatment or to carry out treatment not available on the NHS, an indicative fee list is given below. A more accurate price can be obtained only after an initial examination with the dentist.
